Osmotech UK Limited are looking for a multi skilled Electrical Marine Engineer to join our team at Hamble Point Marina. The role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking a diverse role covering all aspects of marine systems engineering from fault finding, electrical installations, to full re-wires.

Specialising in bow thrusters, gyro and fin stabilizers, air conditioning, heating, high-low platforms, water makers, passerelles, generators, systems engineering, and much more delivering some of the most diverse roles in the industry for our team. Osmotech are main dealers for leading brands such as, Sleipner, Seakeeper, Besenzoni, Lumishore, H+B Technics, Webasto, Dometic, Lewmar, Mente Marine, Hydronautica, Mabru and Sea-Drive.

We are looking for a skilled candidate that is highly motivated and self-sufficient with the ability to adapt to challenges that present themselves during systems engineering projects. They will also plan and implement solutions to complete projects in a timely manner to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

·       Installation of marine systems

·       Diagnosing faults, repairing, and servicing marine systems

·       Keeping paper records

Experience

·       Proven experience as an electrical marine engineer

·       Experience within the leisure marine market

·       Experience installing marine systems

·       Experience fault finding marine electrical systems

·       Ability to work individually or part of a team

·       Valid Driving License

Qualifications

·       Marine Engineering (Electrical bias)

·       Driving License

This role may be best suited to Carpenters from either the construction, shop fitting, timber, furniture, coach or boat building/marine industry.

Responsibilities:

• 2nd and final fix of finished joinery including high-gloss panels, composite trim, solid hardwood, solid surfaces inc Corian etc.

• Assembling and installing bespoke cabinetry.

• Complete fitout of the cabin interior.

• Laying teak decking.

• Reading and understanding technical drawings.

• Balancing workload with other trades.

Experience:

• Joinery: 1 year (required)

• Carpentry: 1 year (required)
