What People Are Saying

"Just a line to let you know that I am extremely pleased with my recent SidePower bow thruster installation to my LM27 yacht.  Amazingly the whole system was fitted in one day and is a most professional job. The engineers were very polite helpful, courteous and careful with my boat and absolutely no mess was left behind. The system has not yet been fully sea tested under sail but my well established boat speed to engine rev benchmark does not seem to have been affected at all by the tunnel and there also seems to be plenty of thrust which will considerably assist with berthing such a long keeled boat. Thank you very much."

— Michael, Hampshire.

" I thought that you might be interested to know that I entered St Barbara V in the Army Offshore Regatta this week and she won the IRC class Offshore Race (Round the Island). It was a good opportunity to test the systems and she came up trumps. "

— Royal Artillery Yacht Club, Rustler 42

“I wanted to write and thank you all for doing such a fantastic job of fitting the bow thruster and anchor windlass to our Rustler 36. Not only did you start and finish the works on exactly the dates agreed, without prior knowledge I would not be able to tell that anyone had been on board, such was the professional level of your installation and cleanliness. Thank you for doing such a great job, it is really a pleasure to deal with companies such as yourself who do what you say you are going to do, and install it well with no fuss. Thank you again to everyone involved, I look forward to using both items when we launch mid-march and for much easier manoeuvring!”

— Richard, King's Lynn.

“Just a brief line to say how pleased I am with all the work carried out by your company. It's all been very professional, and I'd like to make a special point of mentioning Joe, who confounded my expectations and actually managed to solve the windlass problems. Despite me giving him opportunities to retreat with honour intact, he was determined to sort it out, and regardless of the cold and lack of light he did sort it as he said he would. Thanks again to all concerned, and wishing you continued success ahead.."

— Bob Thomas, Owner Aquastar 65

"Just a quick note to say thank you for all the advice over the phone last week regarding bow thruster issues on the Elsdale floating classroom. Mike’s suggestions on how to diagnose the problem were spot on – it was in fact a ceased pin on the bottom of a solenoid which has now been freed. The Elsdale is now fully operational once again! It was a pleasure to deal with such a knowledgeable company that was able to suggest a solution and had the best interests of the customer at heart, rather than just putting more parts in the post. I will certainly be recommending you to other boat operators / charities on the water”
